After a successful closed beta run, Torn Banner Studios’ upcoming magic ‘n melee multiplayer combat game Mirage: Arcane Warfare has opened its doors to a wider audience of gamers with an Open Beta weekend, including the newly revealed 3-on-3 Arena mode.
The Open Beta is live now and will be running until May 14th Sunday 6 pm BST / 7 pm CEST with the game launching on May 23rd. Players can download the open beta on Steam here. Pre-orders for the Standard ($29.99, €27.99, £22.99) and Special Edition ($39.99, €36.99, £29.99) of the game are also available now.
Featuring the current roster of maps cycling through the beta, as well as the latest gameplay and technical improvements to the still-in-development game, the Mirage: Arcane Warfare Open Beta will also introduce a brand new gameplay mode called Arena. The new Arena mode is a 3-on-3, last-man-standing style competitive tournament mode that takes place on an entirely different set of smaller, more close-combat maps. The final game will ship with six Arena mode maps, but two are included in the Open Beta: Spire and Tunnel.
