Orcs Must Die! Unchained to fully release April 19 on PC

Robot Entertainment today announced that its hilarious free-to-play team action tower defense game Orcs Must Die! Unchained will fully launch on April 19, 2017 on Steam and OrcsMustDie.com alongside a major launch update featuring the new Sabotage game mode.

The brand new 3v3 game mode offers a completely different way to play Orcs Must Die! Unchained. Players assemble a team to defend their rift, while the opposing players will occupy an ‘alternate reality’ version of the same map, invisible to the enemy team. Both squads will be able to trigger spells, minions, and huge bosses to distract, trip up, and otherwise thwart their opponents. By protecting their own rift and plunging the defences of their foes into chaos, one team will end the match with the most rift points and claim victory.

To celebrate the news, Robot Entertainment has kicked off Orc Week. Gamers can relish in the destruction of green meanies with 90% off all Orcs Must Die! games and DLC on Steam until April 10th. Visit OrcWeek.com for all of the Steam sale details and a wide array of orcish celebrations.

“We can’t thank our community enough for the constant support and feedback during the year long beta. We really listened to our fans and Orcs Must Die! Unchained constantly evolved during this period”, said Patrick Hudson, CEO of Robot Entertainment. “Now we are thrilled to gear up for the full launch and can’t wait until veterans and newcomers get their hands on the new Sabotage mode”.

The launch update also includes improvements and fixes for the existing game modes Survival and Endless, in which players select one of sixteen heroes and team up with two other friends to defend their rift from ruthless hordes of orcs and minions. Each hero features a wide variety of unique powers, and can also cover their fortresses in cunning traps and brutal torture devices in order to terminate the incoming hordes.
