Star Conflict celebrates the Lunar landing anniversary with special in-game event

StarGem Inc. and Gaijin Entertainment are announcing the release of the ‘Moon Race’ Update for Star Conflict. Joining in as the world celebrates the 50 Year Anniversary of Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin landing on the Moon, for three months, players will be able to take part in the ‘Moon Race’ event and get plenty of in-game of rewards. This includes the grand prize, which awaits the most daring spacefarers – the Custodian, an exclusive frigate to join the player fleet.

The Moon Race consists of three distinct phases, each made up of 30 stages. Pilots can fight in any Star Conflict game mode to gain the temporary in-game currency Xenochips, which can be used to unlock stages of the Moon Race. By unlocking stages, players gain different rewards, ranging from in-game credits, experience boosters, unique cosmetic items, premium account boost licenses and even premium ships. While the first and every fifth stage are open to all pilots, access to all of the stages is reserved only to buyers of the ‘Lunar Pass’.

The grand prize of the Moon Race event is the Custodian frigate, which features a powerful shield control system, plasma guns and the ability to use stealth to hide itself from radar. It is unlocked by clearing the last stage of each phase and can be unlocked by all players that participate in the event, whether they have a Lunar Pass or not.

The ‘Moon Race’ Update will also open beta testing of the new PvE Mission ‘Temple of Last Hope’, with owners of the ‘Into the Unknown’ bundle being the first to gain access. The mission sees players investigate a large, abandoned factory complex. As allied forces enter to study the complex, players need to defend against constantly arriving waves of enemy ships.
