Wartile aims to recreate the many joys of tabletop miniature gaming with a little help from Steam, some lovely ideas and a touch of Kickstarter support. Everything looks shiny, fresh and beautiful and I know this is something I’d most probably enjoy, what with Wartile’s clever mechanics and promises of both single and multi-player options. Oh, and do take a look at its pre-alpha demo for Windows available via Steam and the game’s site. It will let you play with some lovely digital figurines and imagine you are a hairy barbarian with murder in his eyes and magical friends.
Wartile by Playwood Project is currently seeking funding via Kickstarter and is aiming for a March 2017 launch. A pledge of £9 will secure you a copy of the game upon release.
